I’m Carlota Sarcos, a junior at Ransom Everglades School in Miami and an aspiring fashion journalist.

I’m interested in what we wear, but also in everything happening around it — the people creating fashion, the trends we suddenly see everywhere, and what our clothes can tell us about culture, identity and the way we live.

As Fashion Editor for The Catalyst, I get to turn some of that curiosity into stories. I love interviewing people, researching ideas and figuring out what makes something worth writing about.

When I’m not writing, I’m probably taking photos, traveling, spending time with friends and family, saving way too many things to my camera roll, or going down a rabbit hole about a designer or trend I just discovered.
